Hear Thee, Hear Thee. The Fare Thee Well Foundation is not a good bye but an honest hello to the future of our species. Philanthromusicality: a word coined by this generous organization is true to heart in spreading the feelings of music and community that this site expresses. What do they express? It is their goal to support and contribute to individuals and organizations who have limited exposure in their communities or little means to promote their causes.

A few weeks ago Medo, a fine member of Festival Family, contacted us through our Community Initiatives Program regarding "For Morough's Better Tomorrow". Morough Gardner is a bright, gentle soul fighting for his "tomorrow" at all too young an age. Rather than kicking around a soccer ball and enjoying the spring sun splatter, he is undergoing his third round of chemotherapy as he battles for his life. He will soon head to UNC Chapel Hill for a bone marrow and stem cell transplant.
Community Initiatives Program
We are really excited to introduce our Community Initiatives Program. With the introduction of this program, Festival Family is going to complete the circle of being for the fans by the fans for the fans. The idea started in the 2009 between Tom Fallon and Rex Thomson and after months of development by our Community Initiatives Advisory Panel, it is finally time to introduce it to our family and the music community.
The Community Initiatives Program is how we are going to take the benefits generated from Festival Family and give it back to the fans of the music community that are in need. Taking our organizations founding vision of, helping members of the music community have a secure future, we are making this a reality.
