Its from the same people who do Phan Phest, there is a link under the festivals section. In addition to the listed bands, TBAs include Zach Deputy and Yarn. Snipes Farm, just over the boarder from Trenton. What the hell, I camped in Bridgeport, CT last year. I hear it is very small and that they are limiting tickets to 1,000.
That reminds me, there should be a TBA section here where people can post what they have heard or seen on artists websites to let the family know who will be where before formal announcements so they can make their decisions early on.
I just came across a new one ten minutes from my home. Create a Vibe is having a fest Memorial Day weekend in Tuxedo NY w/DSO, From Good Homes, New Riders and the Felice Bros. Createavibe.com.

Whoa, new one? I am looking and can't find anything on it? Who what where :)

Lol, Easy Peasy, one of my sons favorite phrases.

Just ordered my tickets for Phan Fare May 14 & 15 ahead of the price increase. Listed acts include U-Melt, Juggling Suns,Cabinet among others, headliners to be announced Monday, Zach Deputy's website says he will be there so he is probably one (Zach is an absolute Trip!), another to be announced along with a ticket price increase. At $45/ticket (w/no fee!, just tax and shipping) total cost all in right now is <$50 a pop. If you are in reasonable driving distance from the Philly/Trenton area...easy peasy lemon squeezey.

Lol, that is some funny shit right there.

There has to be a better way. I thought of something on the way home tonight. Great idea, but it is a 3 year project before introduction. It would need coordination between organizations and a technology platform. It could be done, wonder if it would be financially feasible?

I guess you have to pay the piper if you want to dance. I just wish I knew that more of it was actually going to the pipers rather than some fat cat with a pinkie ring. I guess its time to buck up and buy my tix for All Good (before they go up again) and Mt Jam and imagine that the $80 in fees for the two pairs are going to help homeless Easter Bunnies rather than purchase gaudy man-jewelry.

TE: Burning the streets in some revolutionary fashion seems like the only one left.

Is is just me or are ticket fees going through the roof? All Good $15/tic plus shipping ... crap but it is what it is, then I go over to Mt Jam $25/tic son of a bitch, at least Vibes is not listing a fee although I know its in there somewhere, there is no such thing as a free lunch. Way back in the day it was just a couple of bucks, now the fees are more than the tickets used to be. I tried calling for tickets and the fee is the same plus a $1.50 phone charge, I just started laughing and said thanks but I'll go on line. Any way around some of these the fees?
TETE on Friday, 05 March 2010 20:48

My bad, Mt Jam's fee is 12.70/tic, the $25 I saw last night was actually a total for 2 tickets. They also e-ticket to avoid shipping so they are actually better than some of the others.

Who do you feel is the most positive artist out there right now? Positive meaning, promoting change, lyrics promoting change and beneficial to the community?
TETE on Wednesday, 03 March 2010 21:52

Bono appears to be saving the world single handed although his music rarely really moves me. Maybe his best work was with Cher.
